Mall Stores.

I was speaking with [info]metaphor and I was thinking of good stores for the mall to have.

A petstore for Backup. (Hopefully with food that's not gone rancid for the poor guy)
Hot Topic (Goth in a box.)
Art supplies store
Sporing Goods store
several clothing stores (name your favorites)
Several eateries (Sbarro's, Panda Express, etc)
Waldenbook's/B.Dalton's/Borders
Sam Goody
Suncoast Video
Radio Shack

Then a few big department stores; Mervyn's, Sears, and the like. (There are rarely more then 4 of these to any single goodsized mall; one is usually little more then a uber clothing and soft-goods (Bathroom, bedroom, etc), while one is usually a sears-esque, with tools, equipment, electronics.)

Anyone want to drop some suggestions?

Not a store, but for the lack of light causing some nice fear effect, a merry-go-round. It's in the mall where I work, anyway; carnival-type stuff at night scares me, anyway. :D

I like the idea of a carousel.

It's likely that Backup is fine with eating old dirty meat. It's unlikely that anyone in the dog's company really wants him to be doing that -- for health reasons and just for the smell.

I've also got this funny image of there still being a truck in the parking lot, and everyone gets together and transports stuff back to the old building and Makes A House A Home.

As opposed to making Greg House a home. He can make his own damn home.

I totally admit I really like the idea of them staying in the mall, too. But then I loved Dawn of the Dead.

If a truck is found, I might have to ask for permission to let Sokka tear it apart to try and understand how it works... >_>

Also, I suggest a Sweet Factory, because what mall is complete without it's own sugar store?

Yankee Candle is a must, as is a toy store. Can't have a mall without a toy store. And we might have to throw in a Mrs. Field's cookie shop. Or a Cinnabon.
